Suheyla Takesh is an art curator and researcher, currently serving as curator-at-large at the Barjeel Art Foundation in Sharjah, UAE. Under the umbrella of the Foundation, she has developed exhibitions in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait City, Amman, and Toronto, and is currently co-curating a show of twentieth-century abstract art at the Grey Art Gallery in New York. Suheyla holds a master's degree in History, Theory and Criticism of Architecture and Art from MIT, where she was also affiliated with the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture.
