Tulip Hazbar (b. 1989) is a U.A.E.-based artist and designer, working with illustrations, found objects, publications, and installations. She holds a BS in Multimedia Design from the American University of Sharjah.
Her practice revolves around reconstructing memories and the ritual of collecting. By collecting tangible and intangible miscellanea, she investigates questions of value, transience and permanence through looking at social interactions, music and found objects.
Hazbar has participated in group shows in Dubai, Sharjah and Doha, and has taken part in art initiatives such as Create and Inspire (Crossway foundation - UK/Brazil) and RCA secret at Art Dubai.
She has worked with leading platforms such as Canvas magazine, Emirates Fine Arts Society and Art Dubai.
